Maria Moschopoulos
Manager, Legal and Board Operations
Maria Moschopoulos serves as manager, legal and board operations on Mellon’s Legal team. In this capacity, she works closely with the Board Secretary to facilitate all communication with Trustees, to prepare and distribute Board and Committee materials, and to plan all Board meetings. She serves as system administrator for a variety of Foundation-wide systems, including the contract management system, and as project manager for numerous cross-team projects.
Previously, Maria was the education administration associate at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute, where she was responsible for contract management, overseeing the general administration budget, and advising on internal budgeting processes. She was also the administrative assistant for the public programming department at Lincoln Center, where she assisted with planning, pre-production, and front-of-house operations for two outdoor summer festivals: Midsummer Night Swing and Lincoln Center Out of Doors.
She holds a BA summa cum laude in art history and French from Georgetown University and an MA in performing arts administration from NYU.
