M Constantine

Research Associate

M Constantine is a research associate for Humanities in Place. In this role, they provide programmatic, logistical, and strategic research support for HiP initiatives.

Prior to joining Mellon, M worked as a research and design consultant, focusing on accessibility and inclusion in the tech and finance industries. Their scholarly research examines the ways that artist collectives redistribute value and resources across diverse cultural economies. They have written and taught widely about the politics of language, place, media, and collectivity.

M holds a BA in art and philosophy from Hampshire College, a MArch from Cornell University, and a PhD in anthropology from Columbia University.
