Jessica Mindnich
Senior Director of Strategic Learning and Evaluation
As senior director of strategic learning and evaluation, Jessica Mindnich works with the leadership and program teams to weave a thread of evaluation and learning throughout the Foundation’s work, helping to build its capacity for strategic learning and evaluation in its grant-making portfolio.
Prior to joining Mellon, Jessica was the senior director of evaluation, learning, and impact stories for the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. She previously created the evaluation department at the San Francisco Foundation, and she led the research department of Children Now. During her tenure at Children Now, Jessica also served on the National KIDS COUNT Steering Committee for the Annie E. Casey Foundation and was a fellow in the foundation’s Leadership in State-Based Advocacy Program.
Jessica received a Ph.D. in education, a Master of Arts in education, and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of California, Berkeley.
