Akua Bonsu

Akua Bonsu is an operations administrative coordinator.

Prior to joining Mellon, Akua served as a senior research associate at Everytown for Gun Safety, where she focused primarily on school safety, Stand Your Ground laws, and community trauma among Black Americans. She has also held administrative roles at Imbesi Law and the Northampton County District Attorney Office.

She holds a BA in urban studies and psychology from Columbia University.
