Walker Art Center Gets $1 Million from Mellon Foundation to Foster Artistic Collaborations

The Walker, hoping to serve as a national model for collaboration between artistic disciplines and institutional departments, will commission a new interdisciplinary program series to premier in January 2018. In addition to supporting nine artist residencies, the grant will also support curatorial fellowships and a national conference for artists, curators, and scholars.
