After centralizing the library's preservation operations for audio and moving image (AMI) materials, the New York Public Library conducted a year-long assessment of AMI holdings, their preservation needs, and the library's preservation infrastructure for this type of material. The first two phases of this assessment were funded with a grant from the Foundation. The report was released on August 26, 2014.
