The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation is pleased to announce that it will launch an online grantee portal at the end of January 2018. The new portal will be based on a system called Fluxx and will help the Foundation’s staff and its grantees both to streamline and enhance the processes of proposing and administering grants.
Through the portal, invited organizations will be able to:
- update user and organization records;
- submit letters of inquiry and invited proposals;
- view grant records for approved grants;
- submit reports and matching funds requests;
- request grant modifications; and
- monitor grant payments.
During the week of January 22nd, principal investigators and grant managements contacts for active grants or pending proposals will receive instructions by email about how to register for the grantee portal. Organizations that are not currently grantees will also be able to register for the portal to submit letters of inquiry. Once they are registered, the Foundation will provide detailed user guides and have staff available to answer any questions about the portal.
The portal launch represents a change from the Foundation’s past practices, and staff are excited about this opportunity to collaborate with grantees in a shared online environment. We hope you will share our excitement, and we look forward to working with you in the Foundation’s new grantee portal.
If you have any questions or concerns about the portal please send an email to email@example.com.
