Access Services
In order to ensure that research collections are both accessible to and usable by scholars and the general public, the Public Knowledge program funds a broad range of projects at universities, archives, and independent research libraries. Current priorities are to assist academic libraries in:
- Diversifying staff and developing data curation and other innovative services
- Diversifying collections available for scholarly and public research by supporting community-based archives
- Digitizing and exposing hidden primary source collections
- Supporting innovative technologies, such as linked open data
