Iracel Rivero
Grants Manager
Iracel Rivero serves as a grants manager at Mellon.
Prior to joining Mellon, Iracel was the grants manager for the Ford Foundation’s Creativity and Free Expression Journalism and JustFilms initiatives, steering domestic and international grants through the grants process and overseeing the teams’ grantmaking budget. Before Ford, she was a grants manager for Trinity Church Wall Street Philanthropies’ Racial Justice and Housing and Homelessness initiatives, as well as the grants management system administrator responsible for leading system updates, integrations and improvements to refine and improve the grantmaking processes. She began her grants management career at the Rockefeller Foundation, managing global grants through due diligence and compliance reviews.
Iracel studied Theatre Arts at the University of South Florida and graduated summa cum laude from The City College of New York with an interdisciplinary degree in Literature, Communications, and the Arts. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for INTAR Theatre.
