Through projects such as Opera Fusion, Cincinnati Opera aims to do more than just commission new work. Gregory Spears’ Fellow Travelers, a McCarthy era gay love story with a libretto by Greg Pierce, also shows the company's desire to foster "closer collaboration between wordsmiths and notesmiths."
