The Chronicle of Higher Education reports on the Next Generation Undergraduate Success Measurement Project, headed by Richard Arum at the University of California, Irvine. Funded under the auspices of the Mellon Research Forum, the project aims to comprehensively measure the complexity of learning inside the classroom and beyond, using vast amounts of student data.
