Josie Hodson

Josie Hodson is a research associate in the Office of the President, where she conducts academic research on arts, culture, literature, and academic and cultural institutions.  Prior to joining the Foundation in 2018, Ms. Hodson worked at the Ford Foundation, where she was a 2017–18 Tom Ford Fellow in Philanthropy, Creativity, and Free Expression.  Previously Ms. Hodson has held internship positions at the Brooklyn Museum, Studio Museum in Harlem, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, and the South African National Gallery in Cape Town.
She holds a BA in art history (honors) and a BA in African and African-American studies from Stanford University, where she participated in the 2015 Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship (MMUF) program.
