Anthony Williams
Anthony Williams proudly serves as an executive assistant in the Public Knowledge program, providing support to Patricia Hswe. Mr. Williams has an extensive history of providing executive and administrative support. Prior to joining the Foundation in 2023, he served as the special assistant to the executive director of the Fund for Public Schools as well as special assistant to the executive director of the McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and Research at New York University. Most recently he was the coordinator of teaching institutes and assistant to the executive director at the Modern Language Association.
Mr. Williams holds a BA in sociology/anthropology from Pace University, an MFA in creative writing from Columbia University, and an EdM with a concentration in language and literacy from Harvard University.
Mr. Williams holds the distinguished honor of serving in the US Army for five years, deploying to Iraq twice. After active duty, he served in the New York National Guard for three years.
